Cumberland County Hospital’s Laboratory is staffed by a team of professionals operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week to provide quick and accurate test results.
The lab is equipped with leading-edge technology and analyzers, offering comprehensive testing in the specialties of hematology, chemistry, microbiology, histology, cytology and blood banking.
The lab’s analyzers and information systems interface with the Hospital’s main computer system and results are accurately transmitted to the Hospital’s inpatient units and, in many cases, directly to physician offices in a timely, effective manner.
Cumberland County Hospital’s Laboratory is licensed by the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
